March 10, 2018 we are still camped out on the beach. The forecast for today is spectacular, 86 degrees and sunny. This will assist with charging the house batteries from the solar panels. It is spring break here and as expected the amount of people here, has increased. We took yogi out for a long walk and let him swim to stay cool. On today's walk I photographed many jellyfish. There are many different kinds of Sea Jellies. They apparently provide food for the birds and turtles. They will eat them when they wash up on the beach. There is one called a Cabbagehead Jellyfish. It is big and white and translucent. I am having an urge to dissect one.
, Another one is Portuguese Man of War. It is blue and translucent. It has tentacles that can be fifty feet long. This is the jelly that delivers a horrible sting to humans that come in contact with its tentacles.
The last type that I saw just one of is the Sea Nettle. This one also has a powerful sting.

Wish we were there!!
